PLEASANTLY FORMIDABLE ✦
Coloring books never stood a chance when I was young. I spent my youth emulating Jim Davis and dreaming of the day I could draw horses as well as my older sister. By the time I reached the seventh grade, my dreams of becoming a magician had been replaced by ones of art.
I love design because there is never a “right” answer. You can’t just open a textbook to find a solution. Design solutions come from dust, ink spots and a little bit of magic.
I am joyfully located in Seattle, Washington

SCHOOL: STRAYER UNIVERSITY ✦ CONCENTRATION: HUMAN RESOURCES / GRADUATED WITH HONORS
In 2020, the world shut down. While the isolation was a challenge, it afforded the time & space to learn new skills. Through the program, I learned to connect my creative background to tangible business strategy and how to build great teams along the way. Change management, partnering with the C-suite, and leadership were the core elements that infused the program. While not a common combination of skills, it gives a true holistic perspective on what makes brands great.
-
SCHOOL: ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY ✦ CONCENTRATION: GRAPHIC DESIGN
Back on track! Where better to go to learn art than San Francisco? Its colors, character, and (completely not Wyoming) vibe set the background where I would work relentlessly to learn the skills to become a professional artist. I learned about color theory, composition, and accidentally sprayed unsuspecting tourists with spraymount.
-
SCHOOL: UTAH COLLEGE OF MASSAGE THERAPY ✦ CONCENTRATION: 12 MODALITIES & THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS
Attending art school would become my dream during 7th grade. From there, I would go on to enroll to Kansas City Art Institute and earn a scholarship to attend. But at 18, life doesn’t always go as planned. While I don't practice massage therapy professionally anymore, the skills to strip out my tired forearms remain priceless (along with a strong appreciation for energies, connection, and grounding).
